With its light weight, high power and superlative handling the Caterham 7 is the ideal car in which to hone your driving abilities. As you progress to gracefully sliding the car around specially designed drift courses you will learn many skills such as steering with the throttle and holding a slide. There are few feelings more satisfying than controlling a drift and this experience gives you the opportunity to learn how. Important Information
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. You must have a full UK driving licence to participate in this experience. The full day drifting is run from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm. You may bring spectators, but please note that the snacks, refreshments and lunch are for the participants only; however these can be provided for spectators at a small extra charge. This experience is open to licensed drivers of all abilities, but it should be noted that it is more difficult than the slalom experience.
Whats Included
An orientation and demonstration from our instructors will familiarize you with the cars and you will receive tuition and learn all the necessary drifting techniques. The instructors will teach you both in groups and individually and we guarantee that you will have drifted a car before the day is out! When your confidence has grown we will change to a more challenging track layout designed to allow you longer drifts. There will be 4 courses with the last giving you the opportunity to show off your new drifting abilities at a higher speed and through multiple corners. The three best drivers will be awarded prizes. Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the event, as well as a light lunch of sandwich, crisps and cake.
